FOOD!! FOod!! foOD!!!

I chose to stay in the city center where I can access to anywhere easily with subway station just right in front of my guesthouse. Most important, Nampo-dong is just right opposite where I stay!! *damn proud cause this is the first time i plan everything by myself!*

So after dropping my luggage and wash up, I immediately head out to the night market which is just 3min walk away from the guesthouse. This is what I see the moment I walk in the market! FOOD!!!!!

I love local authentic korean food so so much especially 떡볶이 spicy teokbokki (korean rice cake).

the moment I walk into Nampo-dong, I can't remove my eyes away from all these mouth watering food, especially when it is in red and dark orange color! (cause I love spicy food so so much, 无辣不欢!!).

We order Kimbab and teokbokki

Obviously I super enjoyed with the food right!!! So while we happily finished our food and was asking the price to pay for the food, the ajuma count and said Man Won (10,000won) which is RM30. Me and Matthias immediately look at each other with our big round eyes. ok la literally is like this:

Then Matthias ask for each item's price and this ajuma simply just list out the price of this two food. Wtf can sumore say it one by one. Fine!! we obviously got con by this aunty!!! ok la who ask us is tourist. Like VS said we are tourist sure will kena con one. Fine! so people please be aware if you come here. ASK FOR THE PRICE BEFORE YOU ORDER!! fuck, i can't even calm down and i keep telling Matthias how can we be so stupid got con by an old lady wtf!.

So we continue to walk around and i saw all these red ripe juicy strawberries!! Is so tempting and i so wanted to buy but someone say is not the season so is gonna be sour and expensive. sigh..... (sigh cause there are more unlucky things happen later fml..)

Then saw this super cute souvenir shop selling all these cute stuff so we just walk in to have a look. They sell cute cosmetics, cute accessories, cute candies, cute stationaries, cute toys, cute electronic, cute couple-t, cute etc etc.. everything is so cute to me la. So i was looking at all these CUTE hairbands and I was about to get few of them, then i realize they are quite expensive wtf. 30 ringgit plus for one hairband.... need or not wor??? siao meh, i rather take this 30 ringgit and eat another con teokbokki okay! (ya I'm cheap like that fml).

and then i also saw this super cute and tiny hello kitty weighing machine.

So we continue our eating tour after this little break for our stomach. and then i saw this! Okonomiyaki
yes yes i know is japanese food lar..

Omg this thing is super duper awesome ok! so damn delicious. When i told Matthias i would like to tried this he was like... meh~ is japanese food you know that? then i was like saying i know but so many people buying it must be nice why dont we just try it?! Then the moment we put this in our mouth, our eyes went big and round! hahahhaa..

And then we move to the next stall which having a super long queue.

And this is what we are queuing for! Hot Teok!
They made the dough on the spot and throw it into the oil pan to fry immediately, so is fresh and hot! i see the aunty like putting in some sugar and cinnamon powder into the dough and wrap it up before throwing into the pan, so i guess that is what makes the dough smell so nice and sweet.

then before they serve the customer, this girl is filling in some sunflower seed and other mixed nuts.

You know the feeling of putting the food into your mouth immediately when the food is served. LOL~ then only i realize i have to take a photo of it!

We was eating and walking around again and then I saw this - not so good looking - 'ice kacang' ~ Pak Ping Su

Ok la no comment for this cause is just thick red bean with... not so smooth ice flakes thats all..

then finally i feel a little full, so i start to shop around. I can't believe their cloths is so damn cheap! sorry la i forgot to snap picture of the shops and environment cause when a shopaholic starts her shopping spread, she won't bother about anything else.

Ok la here is a photo of me with Nampo-dong.

While we were still walking, i suddenly got a serious leg cramp. it was so painful that my toe almost tangled together! it might sounds funny but NOT JOKING OK MY TOE GOT TANGLED TOGETHER. i mean, Almost. LOL. I was literally holding Matthias arm and walk and i almost ask him to carry me and walk already.

then we went into starbucks and take a short rest for my tangled toe.
So here is a photo of me with a sweet smile while my toe is still untangled and my foot are still in pain.
and my tour guide happily pressing his phone
So while on our way back to guest house, i saw this super cute poodle with purple ears and tail. I was like keep shouting i wanna take photo with him i wanna take photo with him. then of course my live translator see me so excited, so he went to the owner and asked if i could take a photo of me and the dog. The owner didn't even hesitate immediately nod his head. i was like immediately get near the dog and see if it bites then i carry the dog. so cute hor!!
Ok la thats all for the first day in Busan.

We have got a lots of plan for the second day but Busan love me so much that it feel touched that i visited the place out of the sudden and it decided to just rain with strong wind for the next two days. I will tell you how unlucky i am for the next post FML.

till then. <3

From Incheon Airport To Busan

This is the signboard i saw the moment i step out from the plane. I was like SEIOUSLY? I'M HERE?? and it all went super overwhelmed when people around me were speaking korean. Is like I'm watching reality show at home through my laptop but without the subtitles under the screen.. LOL.. apparently I'm able to understand a little korean when they speaks to me. Thanks to my everyday routine of watching korean show and listening to song

So this was in the arrival hall and everyone is wearing long pants with jacket cause i was smart enough to forget to brought along jacket and i shivered all the way from Malaysia to Seoul with my empty stomach and of course i didn't catch much sleep.

So after all the usual airport procedure, I grab my luggage and walking towards the arrival hall. I'm not worried about what to do next as this super cute 동생 send me such a details step by step of how to travel from Incheon Airport to Busan.

Once I get out from the arrival hall, I follow the instruction that 동생 given to me and went to the KTX (Korean Train Express) counter to get my ticket from Incheon Airport - Seoul Station - Busan Station. If you don't speak korean, don't worry, as you are still in airport area, most of the staff in airport are able to speak a little English. The receptionist was so friendly that she arrange the time with the cheapest ticket that i could get for me and trying very hard to explain to me why she chose this time for me and how do i travel from Incheon Airport to Seoul Station to Busan.

She even circle the time and places that i will have to arrive and depart. Korean are just so friendly and helpful! by the way, this ticket cost 64,200won (about RM180) which include subway ticket from Incheon Airport to Seoul Stationand KTX from Seoul Station to Busan. I know right is a little pricy.

I was exhausted after whole night of suffering on the plane. This is the pale me sitting at the airport hall waiting for time to pass. The most torturing moment during travel was to wait for time to past.

After some rest, I continue to walk from the airport to subway station. All the signboard are written in English, Japanese and Mandarin, I am not worry that I will get lost!

This is what I get after showing the printed ticket to the person before passing the gate to subway.

Subway entrance from the Airport.

I got so hungry and I went in to a convenient store to get some sandwich. I grab a sandwich and was about to pay, this ajussi speak something in korean and i gave him this "huh?" look, and he was like are you korean (in korean of course, cause i was able to understand a little), then i reply in english saying 'no' :) then he continue say 'free! free!' and pointing to the sandwich and the drinks... i was like oh.... he meant I can have a free drinks with purchasing the sandwich! so nice right, u get a free drink with just buying a sandwich! Malaysia got so good or not u tell me!!! Then ajussi continue to speak to me in his broken english asking me where am i from? and do i travel here alone and stuff. 아저씨 너무 귀여워. after greeting 감사합니다 with a 90 degree bow, i walk towards the railway and enjoy my first meal in Korea~

In the subway train

So this is how the train looks like, so clean and neat! Cause i bought express ticket which normally korean will only took the normal train, so this train is so quiet that i can only heard myself talking with a new Indonesian friend i met in the subway.

About 40min travel (although it is express wtf), i finally arrive at Seoul Station!

So when i was walking towards my train to Busan, this girl came up to me and speak in Korean which I don't understand at all, then she realize I'm not korean and start to speak in english :" i want take picture... you... okay?" i was like huh why?? for what?? then she was scratching her head and say:" i student.... photography... work... school...." then scratching her head again. So i was guessing she mean she is a photography student who needs to capture some picture of someone (me? with a super pale face that travel in the train station wtf?) then I smile to her and say "ok ok, can can" so she smile and keep staying thank you thank you and all. LOL... then i request a photo of her and me. :)

I was so tired the moment i step into the train and this is the only photo I got before I fall into deep sleep~

After about 3 hours 15min train, I finally arrive in Busan station. 동생 was there waiting for me at the arrival hall to pick me up. :)
some shops in Busan Station
This is how Busan Station looks from the outside!

Then we walk towards the subway station to get our ticket to travel to the guest house

This is how the ticket machine looks like. Ya is in korean but don't worry there are language selection that you can choose english. cause my 동생 was able to read korean so he bought the ticket without any difficulty.

I forgot to took photo after this so i just travel from Busan station to our guesthouse thats all! LOL.

Next post. delicious korean food i had for the first day! Stay tune! <3

Planning my own trip!

So I was talking about making the decision to travel to South Korea out of a sudden and I have to plan everything within a week! However, planning got easier when there is someone there to bring u around. I am not worry about my Busan trip as I'm lucky enough to have Matt 동생 who is gonna be my tour guide for the next few days! Therefore, I would need to look for places to stay in Busan and Matt 동생 suggest that if i don't mind, i should try guest house in Korea which is quite confortable, convenient and affordable. So i started to look for guest house in Busan through Booking.com and Agoda.com. I almost fainted when i found out that the price to stay in a guest house right in the middle of city center cost ONLY ABOUT RM50~RM100/night. YES I'M SERIOUS AND CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT??!! and no! the guest house is not dirty nor scary.. It is clean, comfy (read it from most of the review), good facilities (free wifi, heater, air-conditional, laundry, ironing, hair dryer and some even include simple breakfast) and most importantly it is very convenient to walk around and it is also very cheap! The only cons is that you have to share rooms with strangers. As for me, i actually don't mind sleeping with stranger, as long as they don't snore in the middle of the night.

Let me show u few examples that i found in Busan that i would consider to stay.

(click on the name for more details)

these are the few that i really like it and there is more!!

ok this last guest house is the one that i'm looking forward to stay and it is a female guest house with sea view!!! best is it is so new and clean and it looks super comfy like a hotel!! too bad i'm not staying here as the location is a little far away from the city center, u will need to take taxi and travel. But i guess if next trip i'm visiting busan with my babes i would seriously consider this guesthouse.

I also did a little research on places to go and when you google 'must see attraction in Busan' I believe there is a whole long link that you could refer to. It is more or less the same places people would suggest you to visit:

 1. Beomeosa Temple

2. Jagalchi Fish Market

3. Gwangalli Beach

4. Taejongdae Resort Park

5. Haeundae Beach

6. Yonggungsa Temple (ok i'm lazy to collage this photo cause all temple looks the same to me)

7.  Changseondong Meokja Golmok

8. Busan Aquarium

9. Shinsegae Centum City

*All pictures are download from google image*

I will be visiting some of these places but depends on the time. Places like Temples and Aquariums i might just skip it cause WHAT YOU GONNA FREAKING DO IN A TEMPLE? is just a building that is gonna appear as one of your photo background scenery thats all.... ( i say only la har, if time allow, i will still visit temple as my picture background scenery wtf) As for Aquarium, I heard that this aquarium is quite famous and nice but NO WAY I'M NOT GONNA PAY MONEY TO SEE FISHES AND SEA ANIMAL THAT LOOKS THE SAME AS OTHER COUNTRY FISHES AND SEA ANIMAL OKAY!! believe or not, I have been to most of the zoo and aquarium in different countries that i have visited and I'm super sick with visiting zoo and aquarium again and again. If you ever suggest me to visit any country's zoo or aquarium again i will freaking ask u to f* off and sorry for being so rude, i just get super annoyed with looking at animals already.

The few places is a MUST for me to visit in Busan would be Haeundae Beach and Gwangalli Beach
, Changseondong Meokja Golmok and also Shinsegae Centum City!!. Who doens't love beach? Since i have a professional photographer with me, i am gonna take lots and lots of photo at the beach!! yay! As for Changseondong Meokja Golmokm, I love love love street food cause there is so many choice for me to choose and i get to try authentic Korean food with small potion (anyways i can imagine i'm gonna become fat after this trip fml). As for Shinsegar Centum City, if i'm not mistaken, Running Man film it in the mall before. I'm definitely gonna go there to take some photos and of course do my shopping there!!!

I'm gonna share my Seoul trip plan for my next post!!

Okay i think i shall end it here for now, i have to continue to pack my stuff and I'm flying off in few hours time!!

Dreams come true ~ Omfg i can't believe this is happening!

Ok, I know my title is odd but this is the reason that encourage me to blog again and I have to blogged it out now cause -------------------------------------- I AM GOING TO KOREA!!!!

My close friends alway knew that the country i'm looking forward to travel is Korea, Thanks to all those Korean drama, reality show and songs, I'm so into the culture that I even went for korean language classes and I'm able to read Hangul now (not something very proud cause able to read doesn't mean you are able to understand wtf). I even tried to apply teaching job in Korea since last year but apparently it is not so easy to get a teaching job in Korea so fml I'm still in Malaysia.

My life have been quite shitty recently. And I was told to go for a trip to change for a better luck (what a good excuse to travel wtf), so there goes our babes trip to Phuket in June with wifey and Jervenne, but time is seriously killing that i have to wait for a month to travel and I'm gonna mould already!

So how does this Korea trip suddenly pop up? It started off with few days ago, wifey posted a photo about she is flying off to Melbourne and I was being all emo nemo that i couldn't travel immediately, and this is what happen:

As you can see this guy who name Matthias is asking me if i would want to join him to travel in Korea! To be honest, I have never met him before, all i knew about him is that he was one of the photographer that had photo shoot session with Rae like years ago. I only Started to talk to him when i realize he went to Korea for studies last year and I asked him if he have any ideas of getting a job in Korea. And then, once a while, while he going to travel to korea again or he is buying any flight ticket to korea, he will ask me if i wanna come along, and obviously my dream never come true.

So this time, when Matt 동생 invited me to join his trip, without any hesitation (Cause i can no longer stand my stupid miserable life anymore), immediately i check for all the price and money that i would need to spend for the trip, since I have a little saving so i thought why not just go ahead for this adventure? So here is my itinerary!

My plan to travel in South Korea was to spend time like a korean. Wifey actually told me that travel with tour worth the price too as with the money u are paying, you will be sleeping in a five star hotel, eating nice food and best things is that you don't need to travel with the subway or any other public transport (which might cost a bomb too?) as the tour bus will drop u right in front the tourist spot and pick u after that. She got her point actually... but i really wanted to spend time to blend in like a korean (*roll eyes*). So this trip I'm gonna spend ten days time in Busan and Seoul (two of the largest city in South Korea)

Matt 동생 is quite familiar with Busan, Also, VS (college friend) who is currently staying in Busan too. I'm gonna spend 4 days over there meeting up VS and also visit some famous attraction in Busan. What makes me really excited is that I can get to feel the culture by taking the subway, walking on the street just like the local (which is something i always wanted to do and it is something you don't get to experience if you are following the tour!!). After that, I will be spending another 5 days in Seoul.

In my next post, I will be sharing about some travel information. I actually found a lot info that i really really wanna share it out! so if you plan to travel in South Korea soon, please stay tune for my next post!

I seriously can't wait to go there, two days to go! yay!

I'm Not An Early Childhood Educator (at the moment?)

I just realize there are few draft i wrote about my europe trip has been saved in my blog for some time but due to my slow internet connection last time, i didn't manage to post up any of the blogpost. Anyway, it was like so long ago so i decided not to post up any more. Or maybe one day when i got nothing else to talk about i might consider posting it up again.

Ok, back to my life. I was an early childhood teacher, yes, 'was'. Now? I'm not any more, or maybe at the moment. I might go back to the field or maybe not, and yes, I wasted that one year degree studying in the UK, two and half years studying in Segi Subang, and nine years of working as a kindergarten teacher. When I thought I am so used to this field and it is gonna be like 'the rest of my life' kinda thing, it just stopped. I still love children a lot, I still understand children very well, but my motivation isn't there anymore. I'm sick of always being a teacher when I know I can do more than that, therefore, being a kindergarten teacher (especially a daycare teacher) takes all your time that doesn't allow you to do anything else. Do you know as a kindergarten & daycare teacher, you will have to be in the school before 8am? we have to prepare the environment before the children come in, not to mentioned about how the days goes by with screaming and shouting and children's crying and fighting and messing up the environment in the school and when the day finally end, is gonna be around 6pm? or maybe later? It depends on if the parent are taking advantage of the school by spending their own sweet time chilling around and when you called them to pick their child up, they will answer you by saying that they are on the way, they are at the traffic light outside, they are reaching in 5 min and you will never see them in 5 mins, cause their 'on the way' is like 30 mins far, their 'at the traffic light nearby' is always 40 mins away, 'reaching in 5 mins' has never been a '5 mins'. And when you call them again, they just decided not to pick up. When they finally showed up, you can't even give them the 'WTF YOUR 5 MINS IS FREAKING 30MINS OKAY U IDIOT!' (plus a lot of cursing in your heart). But you pay them with 'IS OKAY I CAN WAIT LONGER FOR YOU TO PICK UP YOUR CHILD, SO YOU CAN FREAKING SPEND YOUR OWN SWEET TIME WAITING AT THE NEARBY TRAFFIC LIGHT FOR FUCKING 40 MINS. THANK YOU FOR SENDING YOUR CHILD TO OUR SCHOOL' -.-"

Do you wanna count how many hours we work? probably 9? 10? and guess what? our salary for a daycare teacher? freaking RM850 for a new teacher who work hard, spending 9 or 10 hours in the school, wiping the children poo and puke, cleaning the mess, singing, dancing, teaching, screaming at them, taking care of their hygiene, got complaint from parent from very small mistake, checking tons of homework, doing tons of preparation work for all the event and celebration, getting flu and cough all the time especially sore throat, (I cheat you not, we can have sore throat or no voice for almost 2 weeks and it happens few times a year). But as a degree holder and experience teacher, I don't get so little pay, of course, I get higher. How much? hahahahhahahahaha, let me tell you, As a degree holder, and experience teacher i am still doing that freaking same job in a school but a higher pay with FREAKING RM1500. And yes that is freaking unfair! When I thought everything will get better with holding a degree cert in this field, everything just remain the same. So what can i say? FUCK MY LIFE! F* me for loving children so much that i choose to work in this field, F* me for being so naive thought that when i get a degree back, i will get a better pay. F* me for working so many years but still getting this little pay when everyone at my age has already getting 3k and above pay and able to buy a car or property or whatsoever when I'm still struggling with my tiny little 1 thousand plus salary to survive in KL. F* myself for spending so much GBP in the UK and get nothing in return. F* my life and I shall go die.

I was upset when I was back from the UK and started to work. I didn't complaint much AS that was what I chose to do, but I wasn't happy. My life was just going out in the early morning and come back home in the evening and stay in my room watching some dramas then sleep. It repeats everyday. Until my mum realize that this was not right that her daughter is getting lifeless and not seeing any friend, even when she ask me out on the weekend, I rejected her and rather stay in my room to watch dramas. There were no entertainment and I don't socialise at all. So she decided to ask me to stop working and plan other work for me. She did look for a good job for me but end up something happen (which is another long story again) and things doesn't goes well so I ended up being jobless. I was upset again cause I feel so pathetic and useless by being jobless, but my parent say they don't need me to work and pay for their living and ask me just take my time to look for a better job and they will plan again a better one for me as well. SO? I AM FREAKING HAPPY TO BE JOBLESS NOW! Is like taking a license and say "Hey! I got the permit for being jobless!! woohoo!!"

Now, I'm seriously enjoying my life. I can travel between KL - PG anytime I want, I can plan for trips to oversea, I can lie on my bed for the whole day or whole week doing nothing and etc etc etc... I used to keep looking at my phone and wondering why there isn't any friend contact me? But now? I don't even need to look at my phone at all, F* you don't freaking come and kacau my life I need to watch my dramas and being lifeless now LOL~ (joking la, I still hang out if you ask me to and I whatsapp my babes all the time especially my wife cause if I don't talk to her for a day I will die wtf).

Oh and for the past few month I wasn't that free cause MY WIFE GOT MARRIED LAST DECEMBER!! I am so gonna blog about this for the next post but I got not enough photos to post. Also another wedding was Stephanie Babe, she finally got married to KL so I can see her and hangout with her anytime now!! Ok this two wedding is gonna be another long story to blog about. So please stay tune cause I'm gonna blog about something exciting!!!

Lastly

A photo of me and my SUPER HANDSOME PRINCE WAYNE being silly photo.

Muacks~
